Who are we?
The Lanier Athletic Association is the future feeder program to the new Lanier High School (2010). The Lanier Cluster includes Lanier HS, Lanier MS, Sugar Hill Elementary, Sycamore Elementary, and White Oak Elementary. The Lanier Athletic Association will be a Gwinnett County approved recreation association catering to our Lanier Cluster youth.
Where does the Lanier Athletic Association stand?
The Lanier Athletic Association is in the process of developing athletic programs that will start in the Fall 2010. This process includes working with the City of Sugar Hill in an effort to provide field space at both EE Robinson and Gary Pirkle Parks.
The City is in the process of renovating EE Robinson into a Baseball Park. This is a 2 phase renovation that will give us 4 fields for the fall and by Spring 2011, Lanier Baseball and Softball will be able to schedule games and practices on 8 fields.
We have been working with the NGFA to develop a fostering program that is required by the Gwinnett Football League. The process that the GFL normally follows is to allow new associations to field an 8th Grade team only. This is what Archer did last year during their fostering year. We wanted more and on Feb.10th, the motion was made to the GFL Board that North Gwinnett Football Association foster the Lanier programfor6th (11 yo), 7th (12 yo)and 8th Grade teams. The motion passed! This means that Lanier will open registration for the 11 and 12 year olds and the 8th Grade Football as well as6th, 7th and 8th Grade Cheerleading. More information on

Why should you get involved?
The Lanier Cluster is looking to build and establish a strong youth athletic association. By default, you are part of the Lanier Community if you are going to a Lanier Cluster School. Take the next step and be a part of the Team whose primary focus will be to mold the Lanier Athletic Association into an association that will be the embodiment of strength, pride, and excellence.
