Date: Saturday March 3rd 2012
Time: Ages 0-7: 10AM, Ages 8-14: 12PM
Cost: $50 per contestant
The Miss Lanier pageant is open to all girls ages 0-14. Contestants will be placed in the following groups by their age as of the pageant day.
0-2 years- Baby Miss Lanier**
3-4 years Tiny Miss Lanier
5-7 years Little Miss Lanier
8-10 Miss Preteen Lanier
11-12 Miss Jr. Teen Lanier
13-14 Miss Teen Lanier
**This age division will require an escort on stage
Each Contestant will be judged in a gown of their choice. Dresses should be age appropriate, and cost plays no part in scoring. Each contestant will have her moment in the spotlight to walk on stage in front of our panel of experienced judges. Participants will be scored on confidence, grace, and their personality shining on stage!
Each contestant may choose to compete in the optional photogenic category for $5 per photo. Please attach a sticky note to the back of each photo submitted with the contestant’s name and age.
We will also be honoring a "people’s choice” award for each age division. This will be voted on by the audience for $1 per vote on the day of the pageant.
The participation and outcome of the optional contests will have NO effect on the winner of each age division title.
We will be having 2 optional rehearsal dates for the pageant. They will be Saturday 2/25 from 9:30-11 and Thursday 3/1 from 5:30-7 in the Lanier High School Theater.
